Job summary

Penn State University in Pennsylvania seeks a Residence Hall Supervisor to support a diverse student community. You will supervise resident assistants, plan and track programming, and help with daily operations and community development.

The role is part-time (20 hours/week with occasional up to 40), with an on-campus apartment provided during on-call coverage. Start date as soon as possible; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Experience in student development or housing good but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist resident assistants with programming development, tracking, and implementation.
• Administer daily hall operations and support community development.
• Maintain relationships with campus partners and staff.
• Lead staff selection, training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Provide student counseling, conflict mediation, and crisis management; participate in disciplinary processes.
• Provide on-call duty coverage on a rotating basis.
