Job summary

SCO Family of Service in Bronx, NY is seeking an Assistant Residence Manager for the OPWDD program. The role ensures residents receive person-centered care, compliance with OPWDD regulations, and daily operations management.

You will supervise direct support staff, coordinate schedules, document incidents, manage budgets and provide staff training. Requires NYS driver's license and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in human services preferred.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
• Experience with developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries preferred.
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulations and Justice Center requirements.
• Must obtain AMAP, CPR, First Aid, and SCIP-R certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive care per Circle of Support plans and Life plans.
• Supervise DSPs, on-floor observations, and provide feedback.
• Manage scheduling and staff coverage; fill gaps as needed.
• Conduct and document performance evaluations; train new staff.
