Job summary

Fervo Energy in Colorado is seeking a Reservoir Engineer focused on production forecasting and resource evaluation to link subsurface performance with corporate planning. You will build portfolio-wide production forecasts, develop type curves, and translate uncertainty into probabilistic ranges for budgeting, while collaborating with Finance and Development teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related discipline required.
• 5+ years in reservoir engineering, reserves evaluation, or production forecasting.
• Strong understanding of decline curve analysis and type curves.
• Experience with reserves estimation and reporting standards (SPE-PRMS).
• Experience building economic models (NPV, IRR) and cash flow analyses.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain portfolio-wide production forecasts for long-term planning.
• Develop and update type curves and decline models calibrated to field performance.
• Translate subsurface uncertainty into probabilistic forecast ranges (P10/P50/P90).
• Lead economic evaluations of developments and capital projects (NPV, IRR).
