Job summary

National Emergency Management and Response seeks qualified Paramedics to join a reservist cadre. This is a non-full-time position where deployments are possible. Reservists may be called upon to travel/deploy within 24-48 hours and work in high-pressure environments during disasters.

Requirements include a high school diploma and a current paramedic license, with preference for Texas/LA/FL/NC credentials or NREMT. ALS certification is a plus; 1+ year experience as a Paramedic is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a Paramedic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation for medical staff at designated site(s) to meet program guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA/PHI confidentiality and sign confidentiality statement.
• Direct and train medical staff as directed by chain of command.
• Direct and train staff to coordinate services per local, state, federal policies.
