Reservist Paramedic - Rapid Deployment & Ready to Respond

Job summary

National EMR seeks reservists to support emergency response efforts on an as-needed basis. Paramedics deploy within 6–12 hours, travel to incident sites, and work extended shifts in austere conditions as part of an integrated response cadre.

Responsibilities include documentation, HIPAA compliance, staff supervision, and coordination with local and federal partners. This is not a full-time role, with deployments determined by need and skillset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Paramedic license in state of residence required.
• Current Paramedic license in TX, LA, FL, or NC preferred.
• Current NREMT preferred and ALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, enter, and maintain medical staff documentation at designated sites.
• Maintain confidentiality of health care records per HIPAA requirements.
• Direct and train medical staff at site(s) following applicable policies.
• Monitor health care plans and coordinate with partners.
• Deploy within 6-12 hours of activation and be available for long shifts when deployed.
• Travel and work in austere conditions as part of incident management workforce.
