Job summary

National Emergency Management and Response is seeking reservist Paramedics to assist communities and first responders during disasters. Reservists are deployed as needed, travel within 24–48 hours, and work 12+ hour shifts in austere conditions as part of an elite response cadre.

Positions are not full-time; compensation is based on actual hours worked and job classification. Licensure requirements include state-specific paramedic credentials, with NREMT preferred and ALS certification desired.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Paramedic license in the state of residence is required.
• TX, LA, FL, or NC licenses preferred.
• NREMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, enter, and ensure documentation for medical staff at designated site(s).
• Maintain confidentiality of health care records and PHI per HIPAA.
• Perform and supervise medical staff to perform clinic duties as directed by command.
• Direct and train medical staff at designated sites, following policies and procedures.
• Monitor health care plans for service population within expected timeframes.
