Job summary

MTM Transit is hiring a Reservationist in Tracy, CA. The role handles incoming calls about transportation scheduling, documents trips, and coordinates with vendors to ensure timely trips.

Starting pay is $24.50/hour, and you’ll work in a supportive team focused on service quality and reliability. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, fluency in English and Spanish, 30 wpm typing, a 10-key/data-entry background, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from customers, passengers, vendors and clients.
• Schedule trips by documenting requests and selecting the appropriate vendor.
• Use correct coding and documentation procedures.
• Report issues and vendor performance to the team lead for resolution.
• Learn and follow established protocols and procedures.
• Provide courteous, prompt transportation support and proper terminology.
• Demonstrate reliability and a commitment to quality work.
• Build knowledge of MTM Transit’s provider network.

What will your job look like?

The Reservationist handles incoming calls received via an automated call distribution (ACD) system regarding scheduling of transportation and all other details of customer trips.

Location: 50 East 6th Street Tracy, CA 95376

Starting Pay: $24.50/hr

What You'll Do:

• Answer incoming ACD calls for customers – passengers, vendors, and clients
• Handle daily scheduling of trips by documenting trip request and selecting the most appropriate vendor
• Utilize correct coding and documentation procedures
• Report issues, unusual trip circumstances, and efficiency of vendor operations to team lead for prompt resolution
• Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of, and adhere to, established protocols and procedures
• Provide courteous and prompt response to all transportation requests and adopt proper use of terminology
• Demonstrate sincere personal commitment to promptness, reliability and quality work
• Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of MTM Transits Transportation Provider Network

What You’ll Need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Fluent in both English and Spanish
• Ability to type 30 wpm or greater
• Previous data entry, 10-key experience, preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
