The Amado Laboratory at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, seeks a Research Specialist A/B to advance gene-therapy approaches for ALS and neurodegenerative disorders. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science required; 0–2 years experience for RS-A/B positions.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and basic molecular biology is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and analyze experiments in cell lines, patient-derived cells, and mouse models.
• Contribute to gene therapy projects including delivery, RNAi, gene editing, and ASOs.
• Assist in generating figures and writing Methods for publications.
