Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with related lab experience or equivalent
• Experience with in vivo/in vitro techniques preferred
• Strong ability to follow protocols and work independently

Responsibilities

• Perform in vivo experiments, cell transplantation, tissue collection, dissection, and cell isolation
• Interrogate gene and protein expression using immunostaining, microscopy, flow cytometry, RNAscope, and RNAseq
• Maintain sterile in vitro cell culture practices and perform cell sorting by FACS
• Contribute to genetic engineering using CRISPR/Cas9 and molecular cloning techniques
• Manage mouse colony, breeding, and genotyping; keep detailed lab notebooks
