Job summary

The University of New Hampshire – Main Campus is seeking a Finance & Research Operations Coordinator to support the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping (CCOM). This in-person role focuses on external funding compliance, inventory and logistics, post-award accounting, and procurement, with a collaborative, detail-oriented approach.

Located on UNH's Durham, NH campus, the position runs 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday, as a benefited, full-time, hourly role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or related field with 3 years of grant-funded projects experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and grant management and procurement software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Independent judgment in applying policies and procedures and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance across the research lifecycle, including grant reporting.
• Oversee asset and inventory management for CCOM.
• Manage shipping logistics, including domestic and international shipments.
• Assist post-award accounting and grant reporting.
• Support procurement, budget tracking, and vendor negotiations.
• Assist with events and campus communications and review progress reports.
