Job summary

UCLA’s Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department seeks a Fund Manager to support pre- and post-award activities for contracts, grants, and sponsored funding. You will work closely with faculty and Principal Investigators to ensure accurate budgeting, compliance, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill in financial analysis and grant budget preparation.
• Knowledge of contract and grant policies and ability to interpret agency guidelines.
• Understand basic accounting principles to develop budgets for proposals and financial reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong writing and editing to prepare proposals and progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-award support for contracts and grants.
• Collaborate with faculty and Principal Investigators to manage budgets.
• Interpret and apply UC, federal, and state grant policies.
• Prepare journals and ledger reconciliations and financial reports.
