Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent
• 3+ years of research administration experience
• 3+ years of financial, clerical, or administrative experience
• Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Perform post-award financial management and analysis for CARE Center.
• Develop budgets and handle pre-award grant submissions for CARE faculty.
• Prepare financial reports, monthly statements and projections.
• Design and maintain financial reporting systems (online and manual).
• Coordinate research activities and agency reports for Research Faculty.
• Manage grant proposals, budgets, and grant application submissions.
• Represent the division in contract and grant funding meetings.
• Provide long-range financial planning for awards and salaries.
• Oversee post-award activation and administrative operations.
• Suggest policies to improve awards administration and reduce overdrafts.
