Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Research Associate to support Gundersen Research Institute and principal investigators on clinical research projects. This 1.0 FTE role involves data collection, entry, and database maintenance to advance our mission.

You will review medical records or interview patients, organize data, and ensure accurate documentation for analyses. Associates degree in a health-related field and at least one year of experience are required.

The Research Associate provides research support to Gundersen Research Institute staff, as well as Principal Investigators and other Emplify Health staff for projects that support the mission and objectives of Gundersen Medical Foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews medical records and/or interviews patients for the purpose of data collection, utilizing a medical or clinical knowledge base to enter and organize relevant information.
• Organizes, collects, and enters data into computer databases and/or case report forms.
• Maintains databases and documents for future retrieval and analysis by research staff and principal investigators.

What’s Available

• 1.0 FTE, Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shift, Clinical Hours
• Location: Onsite in La Crosse
