Harvard University’s Wagers Laboratory in Cambridge, MA is seeking a motivated lab assistant to support CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, AAV-based gene transfer, and mouse work. You will assist in cell culture, flow cytometry, immunostaining, and data analysis, while helping with general lab operations and meetings.

The role involves routine animal husbandry, scheduling, and preparation of reagents; regular progress reports will be presented to the PI and team, with supervision as needed.

Qualificações

• At least one year of related lab experience is required.
• Experience with gene editing systems or tissue biology is preferred.
• Ability to operate standard lab equipment and software tools.

Responsabilidades

• Perform experiments using AAVs and CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing.
• Manage data and present results in group meetings.
• Maintain lab supplies and assist with genotyping and tissue work.
• Collaborate with team on experimental design and protocols.
• Ensure safety, proper documentation, and equipment upkeep.
