Job summary

University of Massachusetts Medical School–Wolfe Laboratory seeks Research Associate I–IV to provide operational support in genome editing projects. You will perform experiments, manage data, and contribute to publications under the PI’s direction.

The roles span RA I–IV with increasing responsibilities, including training, protocol development, and budget awareness. This on-site lab position contributes to therapeutic genome editing efforts for neurological disorders and cancer research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Natural Science or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of lab safety and protocols.
• Ability to analyze data objectively and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory experiments as defined by the PI and support a research project.
• Utilize software relevant to experiments and equipment used.
• Interpret data and report findings under PI direction.
• Maintain accurate records and lab notebooks; prepare buffers, media, and solutions.
• Assist with data analysis and computational tasks; present findings at group meetings.
