Job summary

Casino Queen, Inc. in Delaware is seeking a front-of-house team member to deliver excellent service. You will greet guests, seat parties, manage reservations, and assist with payments while maintaining a clean, organized dining area.

Strong English communication, reliability for weekends and nights, and required certifications (ABC; DE Service License) are essential. The role offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities within a bustling casino environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and obtain a Delaware lottery license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as soon as they walk up and provide a friendly welcome.
• Seat guests and take initial drink orders to ensure speed of service.
• Provide accurate wait time estimates during busy periods.
• Answer phones and schedule reservations for large parties.
• Relays guest compliments and complaints to the supervisor.
• Collects proper payment and manage cash drawer with accuracy.
• Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment.
• Open/close tasks and side work as needed.
• Rotate seating between stations to balance workloads.

Job description

• Responsible for providing excellence in service.
• Greet customers as soon as they walk up
• Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
• Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
• Seat guests and take initial drink orders as needed to ensure ideal speed of service
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
• Learn food and beverage menu
• Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff.
• Answer phones and schedule reservations with large parties.
• Relays any guest compliments and complaints to the appropriate supervisor.
• Collects proper payment for paid show.
• Checks reservations and seats guests in a courteous and friendly manner
• Reports to work on time, as scheduled, in proper uniform with nametag, and with a positive and cooperative attitude ready to serve the guests.
• Cash: makes proper change and closes out the check. Held accountable for cash drawer and all variances.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
• Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
• Union Representation: This position is represented by Unite Here and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement
