Qualifications

  • Background in agronomy, agriculture, crop science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in agricultural sales or customer-facing role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of crop production, soil health, and agronomic best practices.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage a sales territory independently.

  • Recommend and sell agronomy products including seed, fertilizer, crop protection, and soil amendments.
  • Conduct field scouting, soil sampling, and crop assessments to provide tailored agronomic recommendations.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Stay current on product offerings, agronomic research, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the cooperative team to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in local agricultural events, trade shows, and grower meetings.

  • CCA (Certified Crop Adviser) designation is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the local region
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
