Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service and assist customers with equipment, billing, and rentals. You will work with a team, inspect and maintain equipment, and use U-Scan technology to manage rentals.

The role includes on-the-job education, a fast-paced work environment, and opportunities for advancement along with comprehensive benefits and bonus programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
