Job summary

U-Haul in Coram, NY is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers in-store and at off-site locations, using U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory, and help with equipment inspection and setup.

Responsibilities include answering questions, preparing rental invoices, installing hitches, and supporting ongoing U-Haul education. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; we offer benefits and advancement

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
