U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Merrillville, IN. The role involves assisting customers with rentals and equipment, using U-Scan tech, and ensuring safe, clean equipment on the lot.

The position offers on-the-job education, a two-interview schedule with paid time, and bonuses including a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 completion bonus for the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores.

Formación

• Customer service experience or aptitude is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and use U-Haul equipment and systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and assist with related tasks.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment) and drive a forklift (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
