Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our rental operation and help customers with U-Haul products and services. This part-time role offers on-the-job education and opportunities to grow with a supportive team.

You will assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center, manage rentals with U-Scan, move and hook up trucks, inspect equipment, and answer questions while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Perform other duties as assigned and participate in U-Haul education.
