Reporting & Data Visualization Specialist
Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is searching for a Reporting & Data Visualization Specialist to serve in Boone, NC or Charlotte, NC. Come join an amazing team and help be a part of advancing God's Kingdom to the nations!
Responsibilities
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Manage the development, implementation, and advancement of data analysis software (Tableau, Tableau Prep, Knime) for monitoring, reporting, and measuring the effectiveness of key ministry initiatives
- Communicate with OCC management to develop and manage static and dynamic data dashboards
- Maintain advanced knowledge of existing data sources
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, workflows, and standards
- Assist in conducting a variety of application testing
- Train staff on the utilization and interpretation of the Tableau dashboard reports
- Provide technical support for OCC department, events and processing season
- Serve at least one week in an OCC processing center during processing season
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficiency in data visualization principals and tools (Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView)
- Thorough knowledge of the ETL process
- Experience with core data management principles and practices
- Proven data and statistical analysis ability
- Ability to translate data into a visual dashboard
- Thorough knowledge of technology testing techniques and documentation process
- Proven ability to train and coach staff in business processes
- Strong communicator and presenter; customer service skills
- Project management experience
- Ability to communicate and present effectively
- Working knowledge of MySQL (preferred)
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Management or closely related discipline. Three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Technology or Data Management. Project management certificate preferred. Twelve (12) credit hours of college level Biblical studies strongly preferred.
