Job summary

Rantec Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Repairs Service Manager to ensure the repairs unit meets company goals.

This role develops policies, drives strategic initiatives, and coordinates with customer services, quality, engineering, finance and supply chain to keep operations efficient. Key duties include monitoring unit performance, leading supplier improvements, and guiding staff to high performance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business required.
• 5+ years in supervision and manufacturing/operations.
• Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of the business.
• Ability to use data to determine root causes of issues and to drive corrective action.
• Ability to execute duties under pressure from deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to provide accurate concise management summaries of status and information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Access, and MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for repairs across functional lines.
• Coordinate interfaces with customer services, quality, engineering, finance and supply chain.
• Interpret policies to provide a uniform approach to repairs.
• Monitor progress toward unit goals and deadlines.
• Lead supplier performance improvement based on scorecards and metrics.
• Communicate expectations and vision to team members.
• Motivate and train staff to achieve high performance and business growth.
• Oversee a Repairs Administrator and day-to-day procedures.
• Devise new marketing strategies to increase product sales.
• Work in a safe professional manner adhering to regulations.
• Arrive on time and meet customer product schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
