Adecco is assisting a major client in Middletown, PA in their search for a Service Technician. This contract-to-hire role offers $21.00 per hour, a Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm schedule, and weekly pay.

Responsibilities include repairing client tools, diagnosing with hand scanners, and ensuring safety testing. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma/GED, experience with mechanical or electrical repairs, and the ability to use hand tools.

Job Description

In a timely and efficient manner, perform duties required to maintain a quality service outlet for the repair of client equipment. Maximize productivity within Repair Operations while delivering high quality, timely repairs of client tools and enhancing the value-added image associated with owning clients tools.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Maintain superior technical knowledge and skills through continuous professional development by studying and reviewing on-line repair manuals, schematics, and technical files.

• Use hand scanners to receive, diagnose, pick spare parts, repair, and complete the repair of client tools.

• Conduct final functional and safety testing after every repair to ensure customer safety.

• Maintain work areas, tools, and assigned equipment in a proper, organized order thus enabling the incumbent to perform the job in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.

• Follow company policies, procedures, and rules.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Must have experience in performing mechanical or electrical repairs

• Must have the ability to use hand tools and equipment to disassemble and assembly power tools

• Must wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, safety gloves, and other safety equipment, as required, when working in the facility and/or operating machinery

• Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs (Assisted)

• Stand for long periods of time and perform repetitively reaching, bending, and climbing

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
