Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Tester to support our local Customer's production department with advanced testing and troubleshooting of enterprise electrical equipment. The role offers $21.00–$29.00 per hour, weekly pay, and potential temp-to-hire employment.

Responsibilities include testing Static Switches, UPSs, RPPs, and PDUs, reading schematics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while adhering to Lean/6S practices. Evening and weekend shifts may occur.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3–5 years experience testing and troubleshooting electronics and 3-phase high-power systems preferred.
  • 2+ years in test lab/manufacturing environment preferred; strong electrical/electronic knowledge.

  • Collaborate with Production, Quality/Process, and Engineering teams while maintaining a safe 6S/Lean Manufacturing work environment.

Job description

While working as a Tester for Adecco at our local Customer, you will earn $21.00–$29.00 per hour and receive a weekly paycheck. This position supports the production department with advanced testing and troubleshooting of enterprise electrical equipment, including Static Switches, UPSs, RPPs, and PDUs.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Perform advanced testing and troubleshooting of Static Switches, UPSs, RPPs, PDUs, and other enterprise electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot high- and low-power systems, including 600V–208V 3-phase applications, electronics, PCBA programming, and board-level issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wire schematics, engineering drawings, component specifications, and ECNs to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality/Process, and Engineering teams while maintaining a safe 6S/Lean Manufacturing work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience, with 3–5 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronics and 3-phase high-power systems preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a test lab and/or manufacturing environment preferred; strong understanding of electrical/electronic technology and high-power applications.
  • Proficient with electronic test equipment, including power meters and oscilloscopes, and able to troubleshoot to the board level and construct/maintain test equipment.
  • Must be proficient in reading schematics and engineering documentation, harness and wiring, PCBA programming, transformer voltage/current/power calculations, and Microsoft Office/SAP.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, including 5S/6S, Kaizen, 5 Whys, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Must be flexible to work 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM), 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM), and occasional weekends/overtime.

This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.

Pay Details:

$21.00 to $29.00 per hour
