Job summary

Snowbasin Resort in Utah is seeking a Full-Time Repair Shop Associate to perform ski and snowboard repairs, waxing, mounting, and boot work. You will assist rentals by helping guests choose, fit, rent, and purchase winter sports gear, while maintaining safety and equipment quality.

The role requires knowledge of current products and trends, and the ability to handle cash according to company policies. A strong attention to detail ensures guests are prepared for their mountain day.

Qualifications

• Experience with powered machinery and tools in a safe, professional manner.
• Follow safety policies and procedures per manuals.
• Drive with a safe driving record as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools and machinery within the repair shop to provide ski and snowboard repairs, waxing, mounting, and boot work.
• Assists rentals in providing guest services related to selection, fitting, renting and selling of winter sports equipment.
• Maintain high level of attention to detail and safety.
• Preform maintenance on ski and snowboard gear.
• Fit Boots, Skis, Snowboards and/or Poles to guest satisfaction.
• Ensure guests are well-equipped for a day on the mountain by providing directions.

Description

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Operates tools and machinery within the repair shop to provide ski and snowboard repairs, waxing, mounting, and boot work
• Assists rentals in providing guest services related to the proper selection, fitting, renting and selling of a variety of winter sports equipment and accessories
• Maintain high level of attention to detail and safety
• Preform maintenance on ski and snowboard gear
• Fit Boots, Skis, Snowboards and/or Poles to guest satisfaction
• Ensure guests are well-equipped for a day on the mountain by providing them with helpful direction.
• Remain current on new industry products and trends while demonstrating knowledge of products
• Demonstrate proper knowledge of company cash handling policies and procedure
• Maintain rental fleet and inventory accountability
• Assist with tracking equipment and inventory regularly
• Assist management with prevention of theft, both internally and externally
• Perform other duties as assigned
