Job summary

Ski Utah is seeking a full-time Repair & Rentals Technician to join our alpine operations team. You will operate tools and machinery in the repair shop to provide ski and snowboard repairs, waxing, mounting, and boot work, while assisting rentals with guest services related to the proper selection, fitting, renting and selling of winter sports gear.

Qualifications

• Experience operating powered machinery and tools safely.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures.
• Drive in accordance with the law and resort policies with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools and machinery within the repair shop to provide ski and snowboard repairs, waxing, mounting, and boot work
• Assists rentals in providing guest services related to the proper selection, fitting, renting and selling of a variety of winter sports equipment and accessories
• Maintain high level of attention to detail and safety
• Preform maintenance on ski and snowboard gear
• Fit Boots, Skis, Snowboards and/or Poles to guest satisfaction
• Ensure guests are well-equipped for a day on the mountain by providing them with helpful direction.
• Remain current on new industry products and trends while demonstrating knowledge of products
• Demonstrate proper knowledge of company cash handling policies and procedure
• Maintain rental fleet and inventory accountability
• Assist with tracking equipment and inventory regularly
• Assist management with prevention of theft, both internally and externally
• Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Drive in accordance with the law and Snowbasin Resort policies; safe driving record
