Job summary

Gables Engineering, a HEICO company, seeks a highly organized Repair Operations Coordinator to support our MRO operations. You will manage the repair lifecycle of aerospace components and serve as a communication link between customers and internal teams.

In this role you will coordinate work orders from intake through shipment, monitor progress, prepare documentation, and address turnaround times, pricing, and warranties while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of repair orders from intake through shipment and delivery.
• Support quotation activities and monitor repair progress to meet customer and contractual requirements.
• Prepare, review, and maintain repair documentation (work orders, certifications, invoices, shipping docs, traceability).
• Serve as primary contact for customers regarding repair status, turnaround times, pricing, warranties, and critical AOG escalations.
• Monitor customer communications and prioritize urgent requests via email and web portals.

What You'll Do

As a Repair Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring repairs are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with aerospace industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of repair orders, from intake and evaluation through shipment and customer delivery.
• Support quotation activities and monitor repair progress to ensure customer and contractual requirements are met.
• Prepare, review, and maintain repair documentation, including:
  • Work orders
  • Certifications
  • Invoices
  • Shipping documents
  • Traceability records
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding:
  • Repair status updates
  • Turnaround times
  • Pricing and quotations
  • Warranty determinations
  • Escalation of critical AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations
• Monitor customer communications through email and web portals, ensuring timely responses and prioritization of urgent requests.
• Maintain accurate information in customer portals and internal ERP systems.
• Partner with engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues, expedite repairs, and improve operational performance.
• Manage digital documentation processes, including scanning, indexing, and record retention.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements within repair operations.
• Support special projects and additional operational initiatives as assigned.
