Job summary

Newrez LLC in Tempe, AZ is seeking an REO Loan Officer to convert REO leads into funded mortgage transactions and build long-term relationships with buyers and agents.

In this structured, high-velocity role you’ll manage a large lead funnel, deliver fast pre-approvals, and drive pull-through while maintaining accurate CRM records in Salesforce. Active NMLS license and purchase mortgage experience are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a producing loan officer or mortgage originator.
• Strong purchase mortgage experience and pre-approval strategy.
• Active NMLS license required.
• Experience using a CRM to manage pipeline (Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work REO leads and Salesforce activity daily to identify active buyers and agents.
• Meet speed-to-contact standards on new REO leads with seven new leads per day.
• Deliver fast pre-approvals and guide borrowers through the REO purchase process.
• Maintain disciplined follow-up cadence across all leads and pipeline movement.
• Convert inbound and outbound opportunities into funded loans.
• Build rapport quickly with buyers and referral partners.
• Ensure all borrower, agent, and transaction activity is captured in CRM.
• Partner with listing agents and operations to support active transactions and provide updates.
• Advise clients on renovation financing and investor loan products.
