Newrez LLC is seeking an REO Loan Officer focused on purchase financing to convert REO leads into funded loans. You will manage fast-paced REO opportunities within Salesforce, build relationships with buyers and agents, and maintain a disciplined follow-up cadence.

The role emphasizes speed-to-contact, accuracy in pre-approvals, and adherence to licensing requirements while targeting ~9 funded transactions per month.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a producing Loan Officer or mortgage originator.
• Strong purchase mortgage experience, including pre-approval strategy and contract-to-close execution.
• Active NMLS license required, with ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Experience working within a CRM to manage pipeline, track activity, and maintain data quality; SPARK or Salesforce experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume, company-provided lead funnel with strong follow-up discipline.

Responsibilities

• Work assigned REO leads, listings, and Salesforce activity daily to identify and engage active buyers and buyer's agents.
• Meet speed-to-contact standards on every newly assigned REO lead, working an average of seven new leads per day alongside an active pipeline.
• Deliver fast, accurate pre-approvals and guide borrowers through the REO purchase process to support competitive offer positioning.
• Maintain disciplined follow-up cadence across all leads, ensuring consistent communication and pipeline movement.
• Convert inbound and outbound opportunities into funded loans, including recapturing buyers who do not ultimately purchase REO properties.
