Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, communications or related field.
• 2+ years' experience in customer service, rental, logistics, sales support, or industrial field.
• Must pass a DOT physical and possess a valid driver\'s license for more than 3 years with a moderately clean driving record.
• Possess or can obtain a valid TWIC card.
• Strong customer service, organization, follow-up, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage several active orders and changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn rental systems; RentalMan experience preferred.
• Willingness to work a rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and gather information to fulfill rental requests.
• Prepare and maintain rental contracts, quotes, purchase orders, and supporting records.
• Communicate order status, delivery expectations, and changes clearly.
• Develop understanding of the complete rental lifecycle from inquiry to closeout.
• Proactively manage customer communications during the rental period, including extensions and exchanges.
• Coordinate available equipment with operations, drivers, and sales reps.
• Support delivery and pickup scheduling and third-party hauling.
• Monitor open orders and follow through until commitments are completed.
• Ensure equipment is prepared, inspected, and ready for deployment.
• Coordinate equipment transfers between branches and inform availability to maximize fleet utilization.
• Enter and update customer, order, asset, and transaction information in RentalMan.
• Review documents for completeness and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized customer and branch records.
• Assist with invoicing, billing support, and rental closeout activities.
• Support safe equipment selection, transportation planning, and branch procedures.
• Build strong relationships across teams and customers.
• Promote safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate to resolve issues and scheduling conflicts.
