Stratton is seeking full-time seasonal Snowmakers to operate and maintain snowmaking equipment. You must be able to work outdoors in all weather, including overnight shifts, and lift up to 70 pounds. Prior snowmaking experience is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Starting wage is $23.00/hr with higher wages based on experience. Recruitment continues through December as conditions permit.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma, or equivalent, required
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
• Ability to work in all winter conditions, including snow, rain, wind, ice
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include 12 hour and/or overnight shifts
• Previous snowmaking experience, preferred
• Previous experience operating snowmobiles, preferred

Responsabilidades

• Pre-season preparation (brush cutting, snow gun and pipeline installation and snow gun setup)
• Safe and efficient operation of snowmaking equipment to produce the quality snow that Stratton guests expect
• Complete maintenance on snowmaking equipment
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Work with minimal supervision
• Assist other departments and fill in as needed
• Follow all company safety policies
• Additional duties as required

POSITION SUMMARY

Snowmakers are responsible for safely and efficiently operating snowmaking equipment. Snowmakers must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions. Snowmaking is a physically demanding job. Snow is expected to be made whenever temperatures allow, many snowmaking shifts will occur overnight. Full-time seasonal positions available. The starting wage for this position is $23.00/hr, higher wages based on experience. Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December.
