Job summary

GSP Transportation Inc. Savannah location seeks a Rental Return Agent to provide friendly, efficient service throughout the rental process and assist customers with the return procedure.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with luggage, reviewing charges, inspecting vehicles, and maintaining lot organization, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must show proof of a valid driver's license and satisfactory MVR
• Must be 21 years of age or have a driver's license for 3 years
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills, data entry, typing, and some experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to complete tasks with precision, speed, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work well with a team
• Customer service and sales orientation
• Passion for helping others
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers as they arrive
• Assist customers with luggage
• Advise and review rental charges and provide an accurate receipt
• Inquire about service and satisfaction
• Inspect the vehicle and determine the fuel tank level
• Complete a service alert for any mechanical or body damage reported by customers
• Identify vehicles on hold for turnback, time, mileage, recall, or other locks, and verify their movement to the proper lot location
• Assist the service department with vehicle cleaning as needed
• Keep the lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow
• Maintain knowledge of rental/return documents, fuel services, surcharges, and optional coverage
• Understand the damage/loss reporting procedure
• Perform additional related duties as required or assigned
