Job summary

Timberline is seeking a Rental Shop Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and staff at our rental shop. You will work closely with the Rental & Repair Manager to ensure a professional appearance and a courteous, efficient guest experience.

Your role includes interviewing and hiring staff, maintaining records, training on cash handling and sales, and ensuring compliance with Timberline policies. You will also handle scheduling via Paylocity and resolve guest concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing rental shop operations and staff.
• Familiarity with Siriusware rental system and Paylocity payroll/timekeeping.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to train and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Rental shops.
• Interview and hire Rental staff.
• Complete and maintain accurate employee records.
• Ensure staff are trained in cash handling, selling techniques, rental setup, safety, and policies.
• Manage daily labor and schedule using Paylocity.
• Address guest complaints not resolved by staff.
• Coordinate with Mountain Dept and Groups as needed.
• Oversee record retention, destruction, and post-accident equipment testing.
• Maintain Siriusware-related inventory and system tasks; coordinate with IT as needed.
