Timberline is seeking a Rental Shop Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and staff at our rental shop. You will work closely with the Rental & Repair Manager to ensure a professional appearance and a courteous, efficient guest experience.

Your role includes interviewing and hiring staff, maintaining records, training on cash handling and sales, and ensuring compliance with Timberline policies. You will also handle scheduling via Paylocity and resolve guest concerns promptly.

• Experience in managing rental shop operations and staff.
• Familiarity with Siriusware rental system and Paylocity payroll/timekeeping.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to train and motivate staff.

Description

Responsible for day to day management of Rental & Repair Shop. Work closely with Rental & Repair Manager to ensure a professional appearance of the Rental Shop, and an efficient and courteous experience for all guests.

Requirements

• Manage daily operations of Rental shops.
• Interview and hire Rental staff.
• Complete and maintain accurate employee records.
• Ensure employees are fully trained in cash handling, selling techniques, rental fitting and set up, safety and compliance with Timberline operational policies.
• Manage daily labor control.
• Manage time clock and employee scheduling in Paylocity.
• In season/year function testing.
• Handle all customer complaints not resolved to the guest’s satisfaction by staff members.
• Operational understanding of Siriusware, as it relates to rental operations (i.e. inventory creation, Self-Entry, SalesEZ, Tech Station, RptMgr, and SysMgr).
• Ability to troubleshoot Siriusware issues, and co-ordinate with IT & Software Specialist in absence of Rental Manager.
• Ensure Lost and Found procedures are followed.
• Work in conjunction with Mountain Department regarding lost guest incidents.
• Oversee record retention and destruction.
• Oversee post accident equipment testing.
• Remain current with industry trends and techniques.
• Coordination with Ski & Ride School and Groups.
• Compliance with company purchasing requirements.
• Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
• Present a professional, quality image at all times.
• Exercise sound judgment and awareness regarding language, behavior, and dress and grooming.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
