Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Escondido, CA is seeking a driven Rental Management Trainee for an 18–24 month accelerated development program on a full-time, onsite basis. You will gain hands-on training across Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales & Marketing to prepare for leadership roles.

The program emphasizes rapid exposure to core business areas, with coaching and practical work to build a complete leadership toolkit. A bachelor’s degree and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent
• 1 year or more of customer service with issue resolution experience preferred
• Must be computer literate – intermediate level

Responsibilities

• Handle the sales process for inbound calls and outbound solicitation
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database
• Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
• Manage all rental asset processes including vehicle PM and cleanliness standards
• Meet overall Ryder market share by executing sales and marketing initiatives
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, and federal regulations
• Reconcile customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain relationships
