Job summary

Ryder Truck Rental, Inc. is seeking a driven Rental Management Trainee for the Escondido, CA location. This on-site, full-time program runs 18–24 months, offering hands-on training across Finance, Operations, HR, and Sales & Marketing to develop the next Ryder leaders.

You will gain experience in asset management, customer relationships, and leadership development while supporting adherence to regulatory requirements. A bachelor’s degree is required, with customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar required.
• One year or more of customer service with issue resolution experience preferred.
• Must be computer literate – intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Handle the sales process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation.
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database.
• Responsible for generating rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
• Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle PM and cleanliness standards.
• Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies.
