Job summary

Mt. Bachelor Rental Shop in Bend, Oregon seeks a Rental Lead to oversee daily operations, lead the rental team, and ensure exceptional guest service and safety. The role includes opening/closing duties, POS responsibilities, and empowerment to drive equipment transport between locations.

The position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive approach to training and maintenance, with indoor/outdoor duties and snow-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in customer service, retail, hospitality or related experience.
• Must pass certification test with binding manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Open/close rental locations and handle cash procedures.
• Fit guests with rental equipment and coach team members on best practices.
• Ensure rental equipment is scanned out and checked in per procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of rental equipment, lessons, and mountain operations.
• Obtain authorization to drive company vehicles for transport of rental equipment.
• Train new and existing employees and promote teamwork.
• Promote safe operating procedures when using rental equipment and shop machinery.
