Job summary

Fabick Cat Rentals is seeking a Rental Consultant to be the first impression for customers, delivering a welcoming, professional rental experience from inquiry to contract completion. You will listen to customer needs, ask questions, and connect them with the right equipment solution, while coordinating with operations, service, and sales to ensure availability and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of customer-facing experience.
• Strong service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to own tasks and manage multiple priorities.
• Accurate data entry and attention to detail.
• Interest in growing within the rental business over time.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, professional rental experience for every customer in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Ask thoughtful questions to understand the customer, the job to be done, timing, and equipment needs.
• Take ownership of customer requests and follow through until resolved or a next step is established.
• Recommend appropriate rental equipment and coordinate with branch resources when needed.
• Prepare quotes and rental contracts with complete and accurate documentation and insurance.
• Coordinate with operations, service, sales and other teams to support equipment availability and customer commitments.
• Respond to customer concerns with urgency and a solution-oriented mindset while keeping the customer informed.
• Support in-store sales, equipment inventory activities, and parts ordering for rental equipment as needed.
• Build working knowledge of Fabick Cat Rentals equipment and stay current on changes, capabilities, and applications.
• Represent Fabick Cat Rentals with professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
