Norfolk Motor Company is seeking a Rental Agent to manage full-cycle rental arrangements and schedule appointments for a seamless customer experience. The role includes detailing cars at the rental location and maintaining rental records.

The position requires strong people skills, a positive attitude, and solid English communication. Hours vary, with weekday and some Saturday shifts as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older to meet insurance requirements.
• Valid in-state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Spanish a plus.
• Proficient computer skills and basic math for pricing and rates.
• Ability to collect data and resolve customer problems.

Responsibilities

• Handle all rental arrangements and coordinate delivery of pre-arranged rentals.
• Open and close the Rental Department as directed; publish hours.
• Check in returns, inspect for damage, monitor mileage and condition.
• Collect payments and maintain rental records; contact customers who are late.
• Answer inquiries from phone and internet leads; build relationships with body shops.
