Job summary

Bobcat - GDN is seeking a Rental Coordinator to be the face of our rental department. This role emphasizes connecting with customers, ensuring a positive experience, and driving revenue through proactive engagement.

You will manage equipment scheduling, prepare rental agreements, and collaborate with Service, Sales, and Parts teams to deliver a seamless customer journey. The position requires strong interpersonal and communication abilities, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to thrive

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with rental or business software systems.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform visual equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in and phone customers in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their projects, timelines, and equipment needs.
• Recommend appropriate equipment and attachments based on customer applications.
• Prepare and execute rental agreements accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up on quotes, upcoming needs, and rental opportunities.
• Manage equipment scheduling and utilization to maximize rental availability and revenue.
• Inspect equipment before and after rentals to ensure it is clean, functional, and ready for customer use.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet condition, location, and readiness.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and pickups, including trailer logistics.
• Work with the Service Department to address maintenance or repair needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Parts, and Service teams to support a seamless customer experience.
• Promote and follow all safety policies related to equipment handling and dealership operations.
