Job summary

Sammons Industrial is seeking a Rental Coordinator to manage a busy branch’s rental operation, ensuring equipment moves on time and customers receive what they need. You’ll coordinate fleet, yard, deliveries, and paperwork, while aligning with drivers, haulers, and sales reps to meet client timelines.

You will listen to customers, understand their goals, and offer solutions that win business while maintaining accurate records and proactive communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a branch, rental, equipment, dealership, distribution, or similarly fast-paced operation.
• Strong customer and sales mindset with urgency, follow-through, and solution hunting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate across teams with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day coordination of rental equipment, fleet availability, yard organization, contracts, and deliveries.
• Serve as primary delivery coordinator, coordinating drivers, haulers, technicians, sales, and branch leadership.
• Respond to customers with urgency, research availability, and propose equipment or alternatives.
• Support rental growth by following up on leads and processing related invoices and paperwork.

This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who knows that in the rental business, every minute matters.How You’ll Make a DifferenceYou’ll be at the center of our rental operation, helping manage a busy fleet while making sure customers get the equipment they need, when and where they need it.You’ll take ownership of the details—from knowing what’s available and organizing the yard to scheduling haulers, coordinating drivers, and keeping our team informed.
