Job summary

Cornerstone Ford/Chrysler in Elk River, MN is seeking a Rental Advisor to greet customers, process rental paperwork, and handle inquiries. You will maintain vehicle readiness, resolve overdue rentals, and coordinate with Advisors, BDC, and Sales to ensure accurate rental logs and timely turnovers.

This role requires at least one year of related experience or training, and offers paid training, PTO, a 40-hour workweek, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive and process rental paperwork.

• Maintain an accurate rental log and coordinate with teams to schedule rentals.
• Inspect returned rentals for damage and perform walkarounds.

If any are going out in the morning, pull them into the drive.* Assist Porters with duties when the drive is busy* Shuttle customers* Pull vehicles around for customers* Pull emergency vehicles out of the drive in the morning* Bag & tag vehicles* Keep the drive clean and dry (to prevent tripping)* Assist Advisors with duties when the drive is busy* Help with walkarounds* Bring them copies**Education and/or Experience:*** One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.**Qualifications and Requirements:*** Current, valid Drivers License with driving record that meets insurance company standards* Willing to submit and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check* Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written* Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service* Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment* Detail-oriented, professional appearance and strong work ethic* Be a team player and willing to work on personal/group goalsThe company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, drug-free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.**Our Values:**We value our relationships.
