Job summary

OnTrac Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Hub Area Manager in Reno to oversee all sort activities and staff within an assigned area. You will report to the facility Operations Manager and drive improvements to achieve safety and efficiency goals.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics with prior leadership, strong data-evaluation skills, and proficient MS Office use. Competitive compensation, benefits, and a schedule that supports 24/7 operations are offered.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of industry experience (logistics, shipping, 3PL) with at least 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Ability to effectively evaluate and summarize data and present answers.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area to ensure quality standards and a safe, efficient environment.
• Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify improvement areas, and address performance/attendance.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings and keep employees informed of daily goals and safety priorities.
• Record departure and arrival times of line-hauls and report final percentages on outbound paperwork.
• Manage flow of volume from Inbound to Outbound for on-time linehaul departures.
• Execute administrative duties including safety training, audits, and end-of-shift reporting.
