Job summary

OnTrac is hiring an Area Manager in Minneapolis, MN, onsite at one of our facilities. You will oversee sort activities, manage a team of handlers, and drive performance improvements to meet safety and efficiency goals.

The role requires at least 2 years in logistics or related field with leadership experience; strong data analysis and communication skills; and proficiency with MS Office. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in logistics, shipping, or 3PL with leadership experience.
• Ability to evaluate data and present findings clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Office and math skills.
• Effective communication and feedback skills.
• Experience hiring, training, and evaluating staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers within an assigned area.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback, and address performance/attendance issues.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings and communicate daily goals and safety priorities.
• Oversee departures/arrivals and flow of volume from Linehauls.
• Perform safety training, operational audits, and end-of-shift reporting.
