Job summary

Marvin is opening a new distribution center in Reno, NV and seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to lead employee relations, engagement, benefits, training and safety at our new location. You will partner with local leadership and our Total Rewards, Communications and Culture, and Leadership Development teams.

The role is Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm at our Reno, NV site, focusing on building a positive culture and aligning HR strategies with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner role preferred.
• Professional certification preferred (SHRM, PHR, SPHR, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and counsel to the HR team, developing team members and maintaining cohesion and consistency.
• Proactively address employee complaints/concerns with confidentiality and urgency, resolving employee relations issues.
• Manage programs and events to improve workplace culture, aiding recruitment and retention.
• Ensure recruitment and retention efforts meet business needs and expectations.
• Coordinate HR matters including unemployment claims, accommodations, work restrictions, and return-to-works
