Duke Energy is seeking Renewables Technicians to support inverter-based resources at multiple NC sites, focusing on operation, maintenance, and start-up of solar and battery systems. The role includes LOTO, SCADA, electrical and instrumentation tasks, and 50% regional travel.

Qualificações

• Technical or Associate's degree required; HS with related experience accepted.
• Experience with electrical/controls troubleshooting and safe shutdown procedures is essential.
• Must be able to travel regionally and work at multiple sites across NC/SC.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily operational rounds and maintenance tasks including LOTO compliance.
• Conduct SCADA, telecom, inverter, battery system maintenance and commissioning tasks.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and ensure safe operation of PV solar and battery storage sites.
• Coordinate with Operations Centers regarding plant/equipment status; travel to multiple sites as needed.
• Lead integration activities for new sites to meet Duke's standards and turnover.
• Maintain thorough documentation and records for EH&S and compliance.
