Duke Energy is seeking Renewables Technicians to support inverter-based assets across multiple Carolinas sites, performing maintenance, commissioning, and startup activities. The role requires strong electrical/controls knowledge and the ability to travel regionally about 50% of the time.

Ideal candidates have technical or associate degrees with experience in PV systems, SCADA, and high voltage environments. This on-site position offers growth, competitive pay, and benefits.

Qualificações

• Technical or Associates Degree required.
• Experience with PV systems or related PV training preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical electrical, civil, and mechanical drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily operational rounds and implement complex LOTO procedures.
• Perform SCADA, telecomm, inverter, battery system maintenance and routine PMs.
• Coordinate with Operations Centers and travel to multiple sites as needed.
• Lead integration efforts for new sites to meet Duke's standards and turnover requirements.
• Read and interpret OEM manuals, warranty agreements, and electrical schematics.
