Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking Renewables Technicians to support inverter-based resources across multiple SC sites, including Beaverdam Solar, Hudson Place Solar, and Bush River Solar. The role involves field maintenance, LOTO procedures, SCADA tasks, and on-call support for critical operations.

Candidates should have a technical/associate degree or related experience, with strong electrical troubleshooting and documentation skills. 50% regional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate Degree is required.
• PV systems experience or training preferred.
• Ability to travel 50% regionally across NC/SC.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational rounds and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain SCADA, telecom, inverter, battery, and array systems.
• Coordinate with Operations Centers and site visits.
• Lead integration for new sites and ensure BES standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
