Duke Energy is seeking Renewables Technicians (Tech I-III) to support inverter-based resources across NC sites. You will perform SCADA, electrical, and maintenance tasks, lead site integration, and ensure safety according to O&M standards.

Qualified candidates have technical degree or equivalent experience, strong electrical knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 50% regionally within the Carolinas.

Qualifikationen

• Technical or Associates Degree
• In lieu of Technical or Associates degree / HS Diploma or GED and 2 years related experience
• One year of related experience (Tech II)
• In lieu of Technical or Associates degree / HS Diploma or GED and 3 years related experience
• Three years of relevant experience (Tech III)
• In lieu of Technical or Associates degree / HS Diploma or GED and 3 years related experience

Aufgaben

• Perform daily operational rounds and complex Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures (LOTO).
• Conduct SCADA, telecom, inverter, battery system, and array maintenance tasks.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance activities.
• Lead integration for new sites and ensure Duke's standards before turnover from construction.
• Manage contractor oversight and communicate with Operations Centers.
• Travel up to 50% regionally to NC sites.
